Zipporah Weisberg

Zipporah Weisberg is an independent scholar, contemporary dancer, and animal liberation activist living in Granada, Spain. In 2013 Zipporah completed her Ph.D. in Social and Political Thought at York University (Toronto). From June 2013 to June 2015 Zipporah was the inaugural Abby Benjamin Postdoctoral Fellow in Animal Ethics in the Dept. of Philosophy at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. She specializes in critical animal studies, the critical theory of the early Frankfurt School, and existentialism and phenomenology.
