Helena Pedersen is Associate Professor in Education at the Department of Pedagogical, Curricular and Professional Studies at University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research and teaching focuses on the theory and practice of critical animal pedagogies and she is currently working on a book project on schizoanalysis and animal science education. She is author of Animals in Schools: Processes and Strategies in Human-Animal Education (Purdue University Press, 2010), Co-editor of the Critical Animal Studies book series (Brill) and serves on the editorial board of Other Education: The Journal of Educational Alternatives.
